Automakers continue to announce global vehicle debuts for the North American International Auto Show. The latest news comes from Nissan that confirmed the premiere of its brand new, Ford Fiesta-rivaling, 2014 Versa Note.
The five-door, subcompact hatchback will share its nameplate with the Versa sedan, but the two models will differ in appearance as well a pricing with the former being a more expensive proposal, according to insiders.

There was a rumor going around last year that Nissan may shift production of the Murano crossover from Japan to its Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Missisipi to better compete in the North American market due to the rising cost of the yen, which eats into its profits.

Nissan has just added a new version to its Qashqai and Qashqai+2 five- and seven-seater compact crossovers’ range. Named the 360 Edition, it is available in all engine and transmission options and will go on sale in Europe this month.
